Contact us by telephone or email to request your applicaton form.

Submit the application to find out if you are eligible.

Testing of the dog is required in order to determine if there is appropriate temperament and sound alertness needed for training.

If you do not have a dog, we can help you look for a candidate.

Classes generally start in February, continue through November. We will have a new location this year.  Those accepted in the program will be notified.  Each team must start in February. Due to the progressive nature of the class, we are unable to allow mid-year entries.

Golden Ears Hearing Dog Training Center is available for public educational activities. These photos were taken during one of our presentations with second and third graders. We enjoy raising the awareness of children and adults regarding the work that Hearing dogs do.

Golden Ears helps educate children regarding hearing loss and hearing dogs. The children help Golden Ears by providing Golden Ears with contributions that can be used within the training program. They have contributed wonderful training aids such as balls, treats, leashes, smoke alarms, alarm clocks, timers, toys, and much more.

Hearing Dogs come in all sizes, shapes, and colors. They may be pure bred or mixed breeds. They have similar characteristics, they like to work, they are very alert to their surroundings, and they thrive on learning.

Golden Ears continues to visit and educate children about hearing loss and hearing dogs. The children help Golden Ears by raising contributions to purchase equipment that can be used in the training program.
